Kultura 101 on Feb 18

Feb 17, 2012

Kultura 101: Philippine Culture for Kids

A once-a-month workshop for Filipino kids living in Singapore.

Next schedule is --

Charice to perform in Singapore on March 5

Watch CHARICE in her INFINITY TOUR at the Kallang Theatre on March 5, 2012.

With a No. 1 song on Billboard’s Dance Charts (‘Pyramid”), a Top Ten Pop debut last Spring – and a major role on the hit TV Show “Glee” last season, her talents are now even bigger than even she imagined.

When this barely five foot bundle of dynamite opens her mouth to sing, with a soaring voice filled with emotion and conviction, the audience literally gasps. At over 260 million hits and counting on YouTube, that audience is growing at a staggering pace.

Philippine Azkals vs Singapore Lions

Posted on: Oct 09, 2011

The fight between Azkals and Lions on 07-Oct made a big news here in Singapore. Not because Azkals won, but because it felt like a home game for the Fil boys. 5000 people clad in blue shirts invaded Jalan Besar to catch Azkals in action.

Aiza Seguerra off to Singapore to promote her hit album "Open Arms"

The Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) reports that Aiza Seguerra will be in Singapore to join the cast of Avenue Q and promote her latest album "Open Arms":

Nasa Singapore ako from October 31 to November 16.

"Nagpunta ako sa Singapore at nag-show ako for the distributors. Ako lang mag-isa. Nakakakaba dahil first time kong mag-show na ang audience ay Singaporeans, Chinese, and Japanese. I stayed there for three days at okey naman," lahad niya.

"Nakakatuwa at nakakagulat," sagot niya.

Results of the mock election held in SG

Posted on: Sep 19, 2007

COMELEC recently announced the results of the I-VOTE "election" which was held from July to August of this year. 311 votes were received and Ninoy Aquino emerged as the winner of the senatorial race.
However, a total of 4,055 "serious hacking attacks" were experienced during the voting period. Fortunately, all attempts were unsuccessful, thus proving the security and resiliency of the internet voting system.
